PCIT Training - Refresher Course (Self-Paced)

Overview of the PCIT Online (Self-Paced) Refresher Training

• The PCIT Online Refresher Course is specifically designed for professionals who previously completed PCIT Training, but did not complete all the necessary requirements to become Certified in PCIT. 
• The PCIT Online Refresher Training Experience combines pre-recorded online instructional presentations with regular, one-hour face-to-face instruction with Certified PCIT Global Trainers.
• The self-paced, PCIT Refresher Course is similar to an online blended course offered by a university where trainees review instructional material independently and engage in regular consultation with other trainees and PCIT expert trainers.​​
• The PCIT Refresher Course allows trainees to individualize their training experience - "learn when you learn best" - while still participating in a virtual classroom where they can learn from other trainees and receive ongoing guidance by Certified PCIT Global Trainers.​​​
• Trainees will review (and practice utilizing) the empirically-supported PCIT protocol that was developed by Dr. Sheila Eyberg.  The trainings will review every PCIT treatment session in the PCIT Protocol (from intake to graduation).
• The PCIT Online Refresher Training Course contains 16 modules. Each module has a variety of training experiences (e.g., presentations, quizzes, DPICS coding activities) to review both phases of PCIT therapy (Child-Directed Interaction Phase; Parent-Directed Interaction Phase).

The PCIT Online (Self-Paced) Refresher Training Package Includes:

• 24/7 access to Refresher Course materials for one year
• Access to the Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Inc. website resources which contains a wide variety of electronic resources and handouts
• When applicable, review of your PCIT Certification Application (no additional fees for application review)
• 20% Discount with Psychological Assessment Resources (PAR) when you order the Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory (ECBI)
• Access to a Monthly Call with Certified PCIT Global Trainers who present on important PCIT topics. Trainees are encouraged to continue to participate in this free monthly call even after they become Certified

Additional Training Costs:

• $50/month for 2 Consultation Calls every month with Certified PCIT Global Trainers ($25 per call)
• $50 per PCIT Session Video Review (e.g., CDI Teach, CDI Coach, PDI Teach, PDI Coach)
