Katie Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified PCIT Global Trainer. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas. She completed her master’s level internships at the University of Arkansas in the areas of children affected by domestic violence and early elementary school social work.

Katie Smith completed PCIT Training in 2017. She began seeing families for PCIT services, including treatment resistant families and those court-ordered to attend services. Katie has conducted PCIT with hundreds of families giving encouragement and assistance with overcoming treatment barriers. Katie is currently the Executive Training Director at PCIT Incorporated overseeing quality assurance of PCIT Training and Certification. She ensures trainees are adhering to fidelity of the PCIT model during training, consultation and Certification.
