Flower Time
It's Toy Tuesday around here- which means on our social media accounts we highlight a toy to use for special time homework practice.
For those who are new around here, "special time" is what PCIT Therapists refer to the 5 minutes of daily homework parents complete to practice their PCIT skills with their child. This helps parents to learn the skills, spend quality one-on-one time with their child to enhance their relationship and set a routine of spending uninterrupted time with their child.
Now, I've been doing daily special time with each of my kids since they were probably 12-18 months old and it's really one of the best things about our day. That's not the PCIT Therapist in me talking, that's the mom in me talking. I love spending individual time with each of my kids and they let me know when they are ready for it too.

We bought this flower garden set about 2 years ago, and I cannot even count how many times we've used it. Both of my kids LOVE this toy. It's so simple yet so fun. We pull out the princesses or the farm animals or the Paw Patrol and just really have fun playing with the flowers. It also is super light-weight and compact, so it's great to take with you when you travel.
What's your favorite special time toy?
