In this 1-hour PCIT CE Program, Certified PCIT Global Trainers (Drs. Christopher Campbell and Cathy Roring) describe how to apply particular PCIT skills and techniques to address specific symptoms of the most commonly diagnosed disorders in PCIT treatment. Participants will learn how to utilize CDI, PDI, or a combination of skills across PCIT treatment phases to reduce or eliminate symptoms of DSM disorders. This program reviews the symptoms/diagnoses that research has proven PCIT to be effective and should serve as a valuable resource for PCIT therapists who commonly work with a variety of challenging symptoms and disorders in PCIT treatment. Learning Objectives: At the end of this program, you should be able to: 1) Describe at least 2 CDI skills/strategies that can be used to reduce ODD symptoms 2) Describe at least 1 PDI strategy that can be used to reduce ODD symptoms 3) Explain at least 1 CDI skill and 1 PDI skill that can be used to reduce Conduct Disorder symptoms 4) Describe at least 1 CDI skill and 1 PDI skill that can be used to reduce ADHD symptoms 5) Describe at least 1 CDI strategy that could be used when working with a caregiver who has Intellectual Developmental Disorder
